Good memory -- I was indeed a Chicago fan, though by 1974 I'd long since abandoned them in favor of far different styles. Once I hit college (in '72) it was out with Chicago and in with Allman Bros., Dead, Dylan, the Band, Clapton, etc.
"What is Hip?" Barry Schanker loved Tower of Power. Ross had those kids bopping to the music. I remember you being a Chicago fan. It was the Fusion era.
Actually, all kidding aside, I knew Ross would make a great counselor, even if it meant his campers would be forced to listen to Tower Of Power over and over again.

Excellent period for rock music. I ended up seeing the Dead a dozen times around the US. Back when Jerry remembered the words to the songs.

Ross made an excellent father figure. Who knew?
I forgot they allowed Ross to be a counselor. Now I know why the camp closed. :-)
I was the the CA of bunk 8 that year. Ross Tenzer was the counselor. Good bunch of kids.
Yes, Dave was the CIT. Actually, I think they may have changed the designation to CA (counselor assistant) by that point.
Then Dave was the CIT?
nah it was bunk 7 at least Dan, Scott and Joe as I was in that bunk and we never made it past bunk 7. Which was 1974
