  • Ross, its been a long time. I have many great childhood memories of the summers at Balfour. The best was the summer when you were my counselor...you were hands down my favorite. I'm very glad to hear things are well with you. Never forget the time you pitched the color war all star softball game & I was given the position of being your catcher. I still listen to Tower of Power...there are too many more great memories.

  • Hey Ross Great job running the marathons and officiating high school basketball and most of all your great family Over the years that softball team you saw in central park really evolved and we made it to the playoffs a couple of times Great hearing from you, Bennet
  • Ross- good to hear back from you. I've had an exciting life since I last saw you in '74. It's been a long time. I'll probably be a grandfather, soon! Time flies when you're having fun. I hope all is well with you and your's. I never made it to counselor at Balfour, but working under you was a great experience. We had a pretty good bunk of kids there, too. Of course, we were practically children ourselves!
  • Hey, Ross, remember me? I was your assistant counselor in 1974. You were a damn good counselor and a good guy. Remember the last night of camp when Bernie physically threw me out of bed and down the hill in front of the cabin? The dude went wild!
  • Hey Ross It sounds like you are doing great Hope all is well Your friend Bennet Lipper Ps The Balfour days were great
  • hey ross, you better remember me, bc you were always my all time fave, the best councelor ever. You were an awesome lead off hitter and shortstop playing those nasty minerva maulers, you brought us back pizza and blt's from the mountain view, and showed me the green sweet bud for the first time.
Me, my lovely wife who teaches, and my 14 year old boy jake who loves hoops and played pt guard on the JV team live in westchester, please call me for a brew if you are up here, 914-772-6594. About 10 years ago I got into what was left of balfour and snuck into the mess hall and found the great bunk 2 is dynomite plack. anyway, on the back, you had written some incredible and prophetic stuff about life back then and what the future may hold, and it gave me chills. Remember that? anyway, great to hear that you are well and have a great family, and I love that you are reffing. you know that was a goaltend at the end of game 2 lakers-magic. cmon! Hey, thanks for the sheepdog, he ate our house! Please know that I have very vivid and fond memories of you as a young kid with a big friend who was a great guy and a great role model, its stuff that stays with you forever. peace! danny liebersohn ps my bro mitti is well, a real estate mogul.
