It has been a long time - But my years at Balfour have definitely stuck with me - the great color wars until that guy Lynn the tennis instructor pushed for color competition - Waterskiing on the lake - with a mist on it first thing in the morning - Havey Kojan & Mike Cohen were my counselors - I also loved the whole camp playing Capture the Flag - that was awesome - Going to see my first concert America @ Saratoga - the counselers all getting stoned - The first of many hundreds of great shows I have enjoyed over the years - ( Profile Pic - with my daughter Hayley @ Pearl Jam in May 2008 ) I own an Insurance Brokerage Firm and live in Parkland FL Sports Lover - Play Tennis - Bike - Golf - Live the Florida Convertible Lifestyle - Wave Running in the Ocean - 10 months a year - Howie Krooks is a neighbor of mine & I see him frequently - Married 17 years to my great wife Ronni with 3 kids - Hayley (16) - Reuben (13) & Jordyn (10) My brothers Dave & Jeff and the rest of Bellmore were all campers at BLC

  • Hey, Mark -- looks like I missed your comment. Well, better late than never, I guess. Yes, I did get to do some stuff for Westwood One. The biggest was "Freedomfest" in London, a huge concert held in honor of Nelson Mandela's released. I also hosted a couple of album release parties (David Lee Roth, Bon Jovi, Stevie Nicks) and a Kinks show. I'm still in radio, although when you posted your comment I'd just lost my job of 16 years. Luckily I got a similar job up here in Baltimore, although I miss Virginia Beach. As for that photo, which is now three years old, I was lovin' life at that moment. It was taken backstage before I played at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater ... and there was more than just soda in that cup! :-)

Hope all is well with you.
  • Mark, appearently your memory is still in tact...those roll-a-hockey games were a blast! Good to hear all is well with you. I'm in my 24th year with GE Capital...moved out to Chicago about 10 years ago. Yes my oldest is 18 & is a freshman at Miami U (OH). You know I named my first born Wayne. Since I moved out to the Midwest I've been skating twice a week. Hockey is huge out here. Wayne can really fly on the ice...great to play with him on a line together. If you ever plan on being in Chicago (i.e. insurance convention) be sure to let me know. Great city to visit between May-Sept...very cold, long winter. Lets be sure to keep in touch.
