I just realized the fight song above was NOT to the Michigan Fight Song. That one was something like "Hail to the fighting blue team, hail to the conquering heroes, hail, hail the mighty Blue Team's march to Color War"
No worries - Big Blue, very cool. The words I remember from our fight song were "Blue team, marching across the field, holding our banners high. Hear our glory cry - Victory, Victory as we march along..."
Yes, that's my youngest, Billy. He's 19, a sophomore at my alma mater Franklin & Marshall College. My 22 year old, Tyler, is at Hofstra getting his MBA in Accounting. Of course I still play golf! And I made it to Bethpage both times. Probably walked right passed each other. I joined Island Hills, where my parents were members, about 4 years ago. Before then, I coached my kids in any sport they were interested in. Ice hockey is where they both excelled, and I still coach our HS club team.
Your comments brought the memories rushing back. Thanks so, so much. I want you to know that I took my puking abilities to college, if only to make room for more beer :-) I hope you and the family are doing well. Where are you living? Married? Kids?
