I think it is fantastic that Balfour is alive again. Phyllis and I spend six mos. in Fl. and six mos. in NJ.We have been talking about a Reunion of former Balfourians. Perhaps we'll have one this summer. I'm in touch wityh Pete Stolzar and Jerry Golub. I'll let them know about this great website and internet get together. Bernie

    Hi, Bernie. My parents have done the same East Coast snowbird thing. They also bought a place in Boynton Beach (the Aberdeen Shores community) in the '90s, and then when they sold the house in Westbury LI (after much importuning by my brother (Stuart) and me to loosen themselves of that burden) purchased a condo in Monroe Township NJ. Unfortunately, my Dad (Morris) succumbed to the combination of heart and renal failure in fall 2007 (at 85). But he was playing 9 holes of golf several times a week until close to his 85th birthday. My Mom (Phyllis - yes, an excellent name) is well, but of course making difficult lifestyle adjustments being on her own.

    So great to hear from you Bernie. I'm enjoying this to no end. I was so happy to hear from Todd that you and Phyllis are well. I'm looking forward to getting together with everyone...sharing stories, pictures and memories. Everyone I speak to agrees that Balfour holds a very special place in their hearts. Love to Phyllis.
