Jogging old fogey's memories...

Do I have your attention? Good. I thought of something to tax your memories: Remember Bill Moose? He was the Camp handyman. He was a Minerva local that maintained all of the buildings and other stuff. I remember every summer, there was a softball game with the Balfour Counselors versus Bill Moose's buddies from the titanium mine. Balfour started out doing well, but after the miners got a whole bunch of beer in them, it seemed like every ball was hit over the cabin roofs. It was one of the highlights of my Balfour career that I finally got to play against the Minerva Miners. I hit a ground rule double that went underneath Bunk 4, I believe. I remember Barry Kaufman hitting one off the roof of the same bunk during that game. After that, it was mostly downhill for the boys from Balfour.
