Every year I recall there was a giant hide and seek contest using the entire camp to hide in. At the end of it all, John Feil could not be found. I walked up behind the chow hall and saw a small shed no bigger than 3 or 4 feet square. I opened the door and looked inside. There was a bunch of junk everywhere just lying around. Off to one side there was a poncho with something underneath it. I poked it with my finger. It felt kind of squishy. I saw a 24" pipe wrench hanging on the wall. I picked up the wrench and smacked the poncho pretty hard. Whatever was under that poncho didn't make a sound. It was John Feil.
