Kid from LI whose who spent one summer in the mountains that began a lifelong love of the outdoors and the Adirondacks. Fast forward 40 years and I have figured out how to head North virtually every weekend into the Adirondacks. Winter weekends in North Creek and summers in Lake Placid. Spent a good part of my life listening to Jethro Tull and the Grateful Dead, traced back to the eight track tapes of my bunk counselor at Balfour Lake. Turning that musically knowledge over to my son who has known the Adirondacks since day one.
