The Lair

Going out at 9:00 and walking to The Lair. Sitting in that little crowded room with the Baco Boys and Che-Na-Wah Girls (hoping one will look at me). Bringing back BLT's for the campers.

    When I was there if we couldn't get someone to bring back BLTS we would sneak out through the back of our cabins,circle around the back of the camp and head to the Lair for those delicious BLTS and orange soda.

    I go back to the early and mid 50’s. I was a camper then and those sandwiches were so good. Baco was not yet built but the girls came for dances. My sister was in the girls camp. I would wake her up when we raided them. Lots of fun. The Lair was always the best though.

    Great times at the Lair Meeting the girls from Che-Na-Wah was pretty cool also Those were great days Lew you were one of our leaders Bennet Lipper

    Nothing better than finding the remains of a BLT on your blanket in the morning.
