I just wanted to let you know that our family will be at Balfour the Weekend of August 1 and 2, so if alumni are coming up let us know and we'll make sure there are plenty of burgers and dogs on the bbq.
This sounds great. I'll give a tentative reply of yes from the East Coast contingency of the Feil clan.
As far as white water rafting, let me highly recommend North Creek Rafting Company (www.northcreekrafting.com) - went with them last summer and they were terrific.
For other activities, might I also suggest an all-up game?
Sounds good Bruce. A few suggestions...
•A campfire for sure
•A visit to Murdies General Store in Minerva and Sullivan's in Olmstedville
•Breakfast at Smith's in North Creek
•A visit to the Minerva Historical Society (http://geocities.com/bednbreakfast98/history.html)-note that Lester Sternin, former owner of Che-Na-Wah runs the place. The again, he might not want us there. :)
•White water rafting on the Hudson from North Creek is a great experience. I would suggest General Swim in Balfour Lake, but since I NEVER did it as a camper or counselor I would not want to ruin my streak.
